e-Governance for Central and Local Governments

The aim of this course is to provide decision-makers with a comparative overview of the possibilities that ICTs can provide when integrated into the decision-making process. The course concentrate on management and governance issues as opposed to technology applications or implementation. While some elements for the training are similar for both central and local governments, some will differ depending on the level of decentralization and on the division of powers in any given country. This course is a “tool-kit” for decision-makers on ICT for development.
